A resident of the city of Kstovo (Nizhny Novgorod region). On 2 July 2024, her home was searched as part of a case on the activities of an extremist organisation in connection with her involvement with the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely for religious activities: meetings, joint worship services, attracting new supporters.
Chernobayeva was detained, and the next day the court sent her to custody.
