A resident of Moscow. On 1 September 2023, he was detained during a solo protest holding a sign that read: “Freedom for Navalny, freedom for political prisoners.” He was released without a formal charge.
On 20 October, Malyarevsky was detained again — this time as part of a criminal case accusing him of participating in the activities of an extremist organisation. He was taken into custody.
On 4 April 2024, Malyarevsky was sentenced to seven years in a general-regime penal colony.
