Detained in Akhtubinsk (Astrakhan Oblast) on 2 July 2024 together with her husband as part of a case of extremist organisation activity in connection with her involvement with the Jehovah's Witnesses community in Kstovo (Nizhny Novgorod Oblast). Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely for religious activities: meetings, joint worship services, and attracting new supporters.
She was taken to Kstovo, after which she was taken into custody.
