A dog handler, she lives in the Moscow region. On October 25, 2023, a case was brought against her for spreading knowingly false information about the Armed Forces. Zibrova was under a non-deportation undertaking. On May 14, 2024, she was placed under house arrest.
On August 28, 2024, Zibrova was sentenced to five years in a general regime colony.
On May 28, 2025, the court of cassation overturned Zibrova's sentence and returned the case to the prosecutor's office.
