Voronezh resident. On 31 January 2021, at a meeting in support of Alexei Navalny, he shouted into the mouthpiece "Glory to free Russia! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Belarus!", after which he was detained by officers of the Centre "E" and forced to record a video with apologies.
On the night of 8-9 March 2022, Osipenko tried to fly from Moscow's Domodedovo airport to Yerevan, but he was detained by law enforcers and taken from Moscow back to Voronezh, where, as he later wrote in a letter, he was tortured. The young man was strangled with a bag, beaten on the hands and kidneys, and demanded to confess his intention to join a unit of the International Legion of Ukraine. Osipenko noted in a letter that citizens of the Russian Federation are not accepted into this unit. He was not provided with a lawyer. At the same time, a report was drawn up on him under the administrative article on minor hooliganism, accusing him of swearing near the police station. The next day the court arrested him for seven days. While he was under the arrest, Osipenko, according to him, was taken to the regional FSS to sign a confession about his intention to go to fight in Ukraine, as well as an agreement to co-operate with the authorities. At the end of the administrative arrest, Osipenko's passport was taken away and he was released.
On 22 February 2023, Osipenko's home was searched. He was taken to the investigative department of the FSS, where he was forced to make a confession of guilt on the same circumstances that had appeared in his earlier confession. On the same day Osipenko was placed in custody on charges of attempted treason.
On 9 July 2024, the young man was sentenced to nine years and ten months in a strict regime colony.
