Detained in December 2024 in Krasnodar Krai and taken to Moscow Region as part of a case of involvement in the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely because of their religious activities - organising meetings and worship services and attracting new supporters. Mladov was placed in custody.
