A resident of Yakutia. On 1 March 2024, he was detained on suspicion of confidential cooperation with Ukraine. According to the investigation, he passed to Ukraine information about the socio-economic situation in the republic, the attitude of residents to the war, mobilisation activities, and other information, as well as put anti-Russian inscriptions on banners with patriotic symbols in support of the war in Ukraine. On 17 October 2024, Zakharov was sentenced to four years in a general regime colony. On 29 May 2025, he was added to Rosfinmonitoring's list of extremists and terrorists, with a marker that is placed next to the names of those prosecuted under terrorist articles. Details of the new case are unknown.
