On 20 November 2019, a case of intentional damage to a car was opened: the suspects were not identified, but witnesses named Katelewski. On 20 April, the case, after a triple extension, was suspended allegedly due to the inability to identify the accused. On 18 May the prosecutor's office cancelled the suspension.

On 21 May a case of extortion was brought against Katelewski.

On 29 July he was detained, during the detention he received an injury to his right ear and lost hearing for two days.

The same day a case of insulting a representative of the authorities was filed. The next day he was taken into custody by court order. On 7 August he was taken into custody in a temporary detention facility on his own recognizance in the extortion case.

On 17 August the court replaced Katelevski's preventive measure with house arrest. However, on the same day Katelewski was detained and sent to the police station to get acquainted with the extortion case. Recognizance not to leave in this case was cancelled, and on 19 August the court placed Katelewski in custody.

During the trial the charge of damaging the car was dropped from Katelevski: according to the prosecutor, the victim could not appear in court, and it was impossible to establish the damage.

On 18 November 2023, Katelevsky was sentenced to nine and a half years in a strict regime colony.
