A resident of Kaluga Oblast and a landscaper at Russian Railways. His criminal prosecution became public in June 2023. He was charged with placing anti-war leaflets in the snow on a street in the village of Tovarkovo. After Epikhin's detention, police reported finding 'an explosive substance derived from pyrotechnic products' at his home. He was taken into custody. On July 7, 2023, he was sentenced to three years in a general-regime penal colony. On October 5, the court of appeal reduced his sentence by three months.
