In October 2024, he was taken into custody on charges of publicly justifying terrorism, based on posts about the "Russian Volunteer Corps" and the "Freedom of Russia" Legion, and with words of support for Daria Trepova, who is accused of murdering military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky.
