He is a resident of Nizhny Novgorod. Formerly a musician, he engaged in the manufacture of safes. He was detained on 16 July 2024. A case was later reported to have been opened against him for participation in the activities of an extremist organisation in connection with correspondence with a person allegedly associated with the Artpodgotovka movement and calls to terrorism for certain comments had made on Vyacheslav Maltsev’s YouTube channel. The correspondence discussed a plan to launch foil-covered balloons during the parade on 9 May 2023 – the so-called “Heavenly Regiment” rally – presumably to complicate air defence operations. Zevakhin was taken into custody. On 6 August 2025, he was sentenced to four years in a general regime colony.
