A resident of Kursk. A criminal case was opened against her and two other people in connection with their involvement in the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Chausova was accused of participating in the activities of an extremist organisation. On 8 August 2023, she was detained after a search, and on 10 August the court sent her under house arrest. On 28 February 2024, the measure of restraint was replaced by a prohibition of certain actions.

On 2 December 2024, Chausova was sentenced to two and a half years in a general regime penal colony. On 26 May 2025, on appeal, the court reduced the sentence by two months.

Members of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely for their religious activities - holding meetings and worship services and attracting new supporters.
