Resident of Pyatigorsk. In the past, a representative of the Falun Dafa Spiritual and Physical Development Center (another name is Falun Gong, a Chinese system of spiritual practices). No later than March 2024, she was placed under house arrest in the case of participation in the activities of an "undesirable" organisation. Later, it became known that Shchetkina was accused of organizing the activities of an "undesirable" organisation.
On November 27, 2024, Shchetkina was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony.
