Uzianbaeva is a resident of Bashkortostan. On 22 January 2024, she was arrested for 13 days under the administrative article on a failure to comply with a lawful order of a police officer (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences) because of her participation in a mass gathering on 17 January in Baymak in support of an activist Fail Alsynov, who was sentenced to 4 years in prison. On 26 January, Uzianbaeva was taken to Ufa, where she was placed in custody on charges of participation in mass riots in connection with the gathering. Later, it became known that she was also accused of using violence against a representative of the authorities. On 7 April 2025, Uzianbaeva was sentenced to 5 and a half years in a general-regime penal colony. On 5 August 2025, the court of appeal reduced the sentence by a month.
