A resident of the village of Nerchinskiy Zavod (Transbaikal Territory). Because of his involvement in the attack on a company, that included Mikhail Taskin, a former fighter of the Wagner Group and a participant in the war in Ukraine, a criminal case was opened against him not only for the infliction of minor bodily harm and property damage, but also for discrediting the use of Russian armed forces.
According to "Sibir.Realii", the beating of Taskin was not related to his participation in the war in Ukraine. According to the publication, in 2019, Taskin was found guilty of attempting to intentionally kill two or more people and was sentenced to 9 years in a high security penal colony, from where he was recruited into the Wagner Group. One of the people he attempted to shoot was a former prisoner, whom he met in a cafe and subsequently provoked a fight.
On September 20, 2024, Piskarev was sentenced to seven years in a high security penal colony, as he had a prior criminal record. On February 3, 2025, the court of appeal reduced his sentence by one year.
