Resident of the Krasnodar Krai in the South of Russia. On 23 June 2020, he was prosecuted for participation in the activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely for religious activities: meetings, joint worship services, attracting new supporters. Skachidub is under recognisance not to leave the country.
On 11 October 2021, he was sentenced to four years and two months in a general regime colony, taken into custody in the courtroom.
