A resident of Novosibirsk. In 2022, Izmailov faced pressure from law enforcement due to his participation in an environmental protest. In February 2024, he was fined for using the slogan 'Glory to Ukraine' in a private conversation.
On 21 August 2024, he was detained following a search. According to an acquaintance, he was subjected to violence: his head was hit twice against the floor. Izmailov fell ill, started bleeding, and experienced an epileptic seizure. He was charged with preparing to participate in a terrorist organisation due to his alleged intention to join the 'Russian Volunteer Corps'. On 23 August, Izmailov was placed in custody.
